Obituary of Bonnie Helen Johnson

Bonnie H. Johnson, 73, St. Petersburg, FL, died Thursday, April 4, 2024 peacefully in her sleep.

 

Bonnie was born October 30, 1950, in Minot, ND, the firstborn daughter of Fredrick and Eva (Lamoureux) Goodman. She attended many schools in North Dakota and graduated from Sherwood High School in Sherwood, North Dakota.

 

During her life, Bonnie lived in many locations and decided that Florida was her place to settle. She’s lived in Florida for 39years. Bonnie had many interests and was always willing to try new things. She was an adventurous spirit. She really enjoyed sewing and has helped many people out for their special occasions. Her daughters, her grandchildren and great granddaughter were the light of her life and she passed many of her talents on to them. As she grew older, she joined the Taoist Tai Chi Society, became a teacher and helped with many of their events. After retirement from Verifone, she traveled to visit family and enjoyed gardening with the Pinellas Park Garden Club.

 

Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Eva (Lamoureux) Goodman and her brother Patrick. She is survived by her daughters Kathy (Jim) Lund, Christina Johnson-Brown, Jacquilynn (JD Connolly) Johnson; grandchildren Jasmine (Jakob) Krol, Tyler (Jessica Belardinelli) Brown, Quinten Brown; great-granddaughter Yareni Belardinelli; siblings Richard (Daryce VanHoff) Goodman, Mary Jo Goodman, Dale (Karin) Goodman, Michael (Ginger) Goodman, and many nieces and nephews.

 

A gathering of friends and family will begin at 2:00pm followed by Bonnie’s Celebration of Life at 2:30pm @ E. James REESE Funeral Home, 6767 Seminole, FL 33772.
