Obituary of Paul B. Kincheloe

Paul B. Kincheloe, 66, of Largo, Florida passed away April 11th, 2024.

He was born in San Jose, California on October 8th, 1957. A few years later his family moved to Live Oak, Florida where he graduated from Suwannee High School. He then enlisted in and faithfully served in the United States Marine Corp. After serving in the military, he moved to Largo, Florida and lived there until his passing. 

He had many great friends and was known as Coach. He was a staunch Florida Gator Fan which is why his grandchildren lovingly call him “Papa Gator”.

He is preceded in death by his father, Louis A. Kincheloe (1969), his mother, Bessie L. Byars (2018).

Paul is survived by his four children and one stepson and six grandchildren: Daughter, Brandi Chase (Pete) of Largo, FL, Grandson Gabriel Wainscott and Granddaughter Stasha Wainscott of Brunswick, GA; Son, Mac Kincheloe (Leslie), Granddaughter Alexis, Grandsons Caleb and Louis Kincheloe of Cosby, TN; Son, Josh Kincheloe and Granddaughter Harmony Kincheloe of Denver, CO; Son Jacob Kincheloe of Cosby, TN; Stepson Eben Florence of Florida.

He loved his children dearly and was very proud of them, but his grandchildren are what put the biggest smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes. Paul is also survived by four brothers and a sister; Louis Kincheloe, Jacksonville, FL., sister, Sandra Kincheloe Lee (Darral), Jacksonville, FL., John Kincheloe (Pat), Jacksonville, FL., James Kincheloe (Nancy), Remington, VA, Mark Kincheloe (Vicki) Jacksonville., FL and many nephews, and nieces.

“Once a Marine, always a Marine”, he was often heard reciting.

Paul was always ready to lend a helping hand to a fellow veteran or anyone in need. Paul was greatly loved by many and will be deeply missed by all. To be absent in body is to be present with the Lord!

 

Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery, May 3, 2024, for family.

Celebration of Life will be at Eagle Lake Park 1800 Keene Rd. at 12:00 noon for friends and family.
